Šotovento
Šotovento is a municipality in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County on the island of Krk in western Croatia. Part of the town of Krk, it is adjacent to Malinska-Dubašnica. Geography Sotovento covers of the western town of Krk, on the island of Krk. According to the 2011 census, there were 1,206 inhabitants in 10 settlements: Other settlements and sites include Brozici, Kapovci and Glavotok, and the ferry port of Valbiska. Glavotok, the island's westernmost point, belonged to the Frankopan family during the 14th century. At the beginning of the 16th century, the Franciscan Third Order Regular of Saint Francis of Penance built a monastery and several houses. Near Glavotok is an oak forest. Valbiska has been a dock for ferries on the Valbiska-Merag line, from Krk to the island of Cres, since 2009; this followed ferry lines from Baška to Lopar and Valbiska to Lopar, on the island of Rab. Nenadići
Nenadići (also known as Nenadic) is a village on the island of Krk. Loacation Nenadic is located in the western part of the island of Krk in the area called Šotovento. Namely, the surrounding hills of Vrhure (238 m), Kukurik (176 m), Klobučac (106 m), Škrlat (144 m) protect this part of the island from the bora wind. It is not a coastal resort but it is in the interior of the island. The village is adjacent to Poljice. It is 6 km from Malinska and 9 km from Krk town. Rab �âːb( dlm, Arba, la, Arba, it, Arbe, german: Arbey) is an island in the northern Dalmatia region in Croatia, located just off the northern Croatian coast in the Adriatic Sea.
