ŠK Senec
ŠK Senec was a Slovak soccer club based in Senec, and founded in 1994. The club has played in Slovak Second Football League. Since 1999 the club has organized an annual youth soccer tournament Senec District and friends, which in the past ten years has involved 15,940 children. Senec (, ) is a town in the Bratislava Region of south-western Slovakia. The town is the administrative seat of the Senec District and its largest municipality. The Slovak Second Football League (), officially known as MONACObet LIGA for sponsorship reasons, is the annual second tier association football, football competition in Football in Slovakia, Slovakia. Currently, the competition consists of 16 teams. History The league was formed as a second-tier league in Czechoslovakia. Before the dissolution of Czechoslovakia it consisted of 16 teams. Upon dissolution, six teams were promoted to the then newly formed Slovak First League. The league was expanded to 18 teams in 1996/97 season, but returned back to 16 in 2001/02 and reduced to 12 in 2006–07. FC DAC 1904 is a Slovak professional association football, football club based in Dunajská Streda which competes in the Slovak First Football League. Juraj Piroska
Juraj Piroska (born 27 February 1987) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Petržalka. Club career Piroska began playing football in Slovan Bratislava at the age of 6. He joined German side SC Freiburg youth squad in 2004. There he spent one-and-a-half years and came back to Slovakia, signing for AS Trenčín. He missed most of the time in Trenčín due to a backbone injury. In January 2006, he moved to Artmedia Petržalka. His breakthrough came in 2007–08, winning the double.
