Şebnem Dönmez
Şebnem Dönmez (born May 17, 1974 in Salzgitter, West Germany) is a Turkish movie, television series actress and host of television shows. Originally a model, she debuted in 1992 at the television scene taking part in a motorsports show of TRT, at that time Turkey's only channel. Şebnem Dönmez kept on appearing in and hosting several TV shows since then. She acted in a stream of Turkish films and television series. The first international movie she acted in was ''The Net 2.0'', a Hollywood production shot in Istanbul. She performed on stage with one of the leading roles in ''Oyunun Oyunu'' (''Noises Off'') by Michael Frayn. In 2005, she married the film director Ezel Akay. Their marriage ended after two years. Salzgitter (; Eastphalian: ''Soltgitter'') is an independent city in southeast Lower Saxony, Germany, located between Hildesheim and Braunschweig. Show TV is a nationwide television channel in Turkey owned by Albayrak Holding since 2018, acquired from Sadık Albayrak which in turn seized from Ciner Media Group after Turgay Ciner was forced to sell due to tax debts. The channel replaces Cine5's now-defunct frequencies, and it was originally established by the Turkish businessmen Erol Aksoy and Haldun Simavi, although it were originally launched on March 1, 1991, when it commences its test transmissions. Kanal D, also known as Channel D, is a nationwide television channel in Turkey and part of Demirören Group. It was founded by Ayhan Şahenk and Aydın Doğan in 1993. The network also runs an international channel, Euro D which is available online, and had the first high definition channel in Turkey, Kanal D HD. The text 'KANAL D' is not displayed in its Turkish broadcast. ''Where's Firuze?'' (Turkish: ''Neredesin Firuze?'') is a 2004 Turkish comedy film directed by Ezel Akay and written by Levent Kazak based on a story of Özcan Deniz . Plot Hayri and Orhan, who run the Umut Müzik label, are two unsuccessful producers and when their latest artist Hamit Hayran fails, they are left heavily in debt. They pin their hopes on a singer from the Turkish community in Germany called Ferhat Can. Ferhat enthusiastically arrives in Turkey and falls in love with a model Melek who he first sees on a billboard.
