He currently holds the Chairman position as advisor. He is married and has three children. 	Şaban Karataş Şaban Karataş (1928–2016) was a Turkish academic and conservative politician who was the director general of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) between 1976 and 1977.
