Anna Řeháková
Anna Řeháková (16 July 1850 – 27 May 1937) was a Czech teacher, translator, travel writer and novelist. Family Řeháková was born in 1850 in Žitnobranská Street, Prague and was one of seven siblings, including her sister Eliška Řeháková, who also became a teacher. Her parents were Václav Řehak, the owner of a grocer's shop, and Maria Řeháková-Zelenská, from Kutná Hora. Career Řeháková was a teacher at the St. Thomas School in Prague for thirty years, contributing to a rise in standards of girls education. Her sister Eliška was also a teacher and they often shared lodgings together and travelled abroad with each other. They both became members of the Association of Czech Female Teachers and the American Club of Czech Ladies. Writing Alongside teaching, Řeháková was a writer. Eliška Řeháková
Eliška Řeháková (20 January 1846 – 31 March 1916) was a Czechs, Czech teacher, translator, journalist and suffragist. She was awarded the Cross of Merit (Austria-Hungary), Civil Merit Cross of Austria-Hungary. Family and early life Řeháková was born on 20 January 1846 in Prague, and was one of seven siblings, including her sister Anna Řeháková, who also became a teacher. Her parents were Václav Řehak, the owner of a grocer's shop, and Maria Řehaková-Zelenská, from Kutná Hora. In her youth, Řeháková was a member of the Society of Czech Girls, co-founded by Bohuslava Rajská, F. Amerlingová and Božena Němcová. Career Řeháková worked as a teacher. Liliana Řeháková, married name: Střechová (10 December 1958 — 10 December 2008) was a Czech ice dancer who competed for Czechoslovakia.
