Ōdashi Station
is a passenger railway station located in the city of Ōda, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West). Lines Ōdashi Station is served by the JR West San'in Main Line, and is located 417.2 kilometers from the terminus of the line at . Station layout The station consists of one side platform and one island platform connected to the station building by a footbridge crossing. The station is staffed. Platforms History Ōdashi Station was opened on 11 July 1915 as when the San'in Main Line was extended from Iwami-Ōda Station (currently Oda). The line was further extended to Nima Station on 15 May 1917. The station was renamed on 1 February 1971. With the privatization of the Japan National Railway (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan railway Company (JR West). The abbreviated JNR or , was the business entity that operated Japan's national railway network from 1949 to 1987. Sanin Main Line
The is a railway line in western Japan, which connects Kyoto and Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It is the major railway line of the San'in region, approximately paralleling the Japan Sea, crossing Kyoto, Hyōgo, Tottori, Shimane, and Yamaguchi prefectures. The main portion from Kyoto to Hatabu is the longest single continuous railway line in Japan at , although no regularly scheduled train operates over the entire line. Japan National Route 9
is an important highway in the Kansai and Chūgoku regions. It connects the prefectural capitals of Kyoto, Tottori, Matsue (Shimane Prefecture), and Yamaguchi. was a railway station in Kawamoto, Ōchi District, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).
