Łzy (pronounced ; Polish for "Tears") are a Polish pop rock band formed in 1996, best known for their early 2000s hits "Agnieszka już dawno...", "Narcyz się nazywam", "Jestem jaka jestem" and "Oczy szeroko zamknięte", among others. The group has released one gold and three platinum certified albums in Poland. Up until 2010, the band's lead vocalist was Anna Wyszkoni who continued a successful solo career. Łzy are known for their sad, melancholic lyrics, exploring loneliness, unhappy love and heartbreak, occasionally touching on controversial subjects, such as suicide, rape, abortion, euthanasia and drugs. Anna Wyszkoni (born 21 July 1980 in Tworków, Poland) is a Polish people, Polish pop rock singer, composer and songwriter, also performing under the diminutive Ania Wyszkoni. Metal Mind Productions (MMP) is a Polish record label founded in 1987. The label focuses on rock and heavy metal. MMP is also publisher of ''Metal Hammer'', the largest and the oldest heavy metal magazine. As a concert agency, it organises Metalmania, the largest heavy metal event in Central Europe, and it organised over 1000 concerts, including Monsters of Rock in Poland, 1991. Poland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song "Love Song", composed by Paweł Rurak-Sokal, with lyrics by Tatiana Okupnik, and performed by the band Blue Café. The Polish participating broadcaster, (TVP), organised the national final in order to select its entry for the contest. The national final took place on 24 January 2004 and featured fifteen entries. The Eurovision Song Contest 2004 was the 49th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
