ŁKS Łódź II
ŁKS Łódź II is a Polish football team, which serves as the reserve side of ŁKS Łódź. As of the 2024–25 season, they compete in the II liga, the third tier of the Polish league system. History While it is unclear when ŁKS's reserve side was established, the earlier mentions of the team's activity date back to 1927, when they competed in the Łódź Klasa A regional league. In recent times, ŁKS II was disbanded after suffering relegation from IV liga Łódź at the end of the 2010–11 season. It was re-established in 2015, and began their climb through the Polish league system, earning promotions from the eighth tier to II liga, the third division, in eight years. They finished the 2023–24 season in tenth, one place and one point behind fellow reserve side Zagłębie Lubin II. Władysław Król Municipal Stadium
The Władysław Król Municipal Stadium (), also known as the Stadion Miejski ŁKS Łódź (), is a football stadium in Łódź, Poland. The stadium has a capacity of 18,029 seats. History The ground has hosted football games since 1924. The original stadium, built for association football club ŁKS Łódź, had a combination of grandstands and standing areas, and hosted a maximum crowd of 45,000 on August 21, 1971, when ŁKS Łódź and Polonia Bytom played to a 0–0 draw. The stands were renovated at various times, and by 2001 the field had seating for 12,160 fans, in sections built in various time periods. A new stadium was planned on the same site. In November 2013 a contract was finally signed to begin construction of the new stadium with Mirbud, with completion within 20 months.
