Ľubomír Dolgoš
Ľubomír Dolgoš (20 August 1956 – 29 December 2004) was a Slovak politician, educator and economist. He was former Minister of Administration and Privatization of National Property of the Slovak Republic in 1992–1993. Biography Dolgoš was born on 20 August 1956 in Podbrezová, Czechoslovakia. He graduated from the Faculty of National Economy at the University of Economics in Bratislava (1979–1983). He was known primarily as an economist, but he did not shy away from the role of a public figure, politician, lecturer and researcher at the University of Economics. Before entering public life, Ľ. Davos
Davos (, ; or ; ; Old ) is an Alpine resort town and municipality in the Prättigau/Davos Region in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It has a permanent population of (). Public Against Violence (, VPN) was a political movement established in Bratislava, Slovakia in November 1989. It was the Slovak counterpart of the Czech Civic Forum. Velvet Revolution Public Against Violence (VPN) was founded during the Velvet Revolution, which overthrew the Communist Party rule in Czechoslovakia. After riot police cracked down on a student demonstration in Prague on the 17 November 1989 a growing series of demonstrations were held in Czechoslovakia. On the 19 November Civic Forum was founded in Prague as a coalition of opposition groups demanding the removal of the Communist leadership. The same evening a meeting was held in Bratislava, Slovakia attended by about 500 people where Public Against Violence was founded.
