Ľubomír Dobrík
Ľubomír Dobrík (19 March 1952 – 8 September 2022) was a Slovak judge. Previously a member of the People's Party – Movement for a Democratic Slovakia, he served on the Constitutional Court of Slovakia from 1997 to 2016. Zvolen
Zvolen (; ; ) is a city in central Slovakia, situated on the confluence of Hron and Slatina rivers. It is famous for several historical and cultural attractions. It is surrounded by Poľana mountain from the East, by Kremnické vrchy from the West and by Javorie and Štiavnické vrchy from the South. Comenius University Bratislava () is the largest university in Slovakia, with most of its faculties located in Bratislava. It was founded in 1919, shortly after the creation of Czechoslovakia. Matej Bel University (commonly referred as Matej Bel or UMB), () is a public research university in the central Slovak town of Banská Bystrica. The university was established in 1992. It bears the name of Matthias Bel, a Hungarian-Slovak Lutheran scholar of the 18th century. People's Party – Movement For A Democratic Slovakia
The Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (, HZDS), later known as the People's Party – Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (, ĽS–HZDS), was a populist political party in Slovakia. The party is commonly considered as having been authoritarian and illiberal. During 1992–1998, HDZS was the leading party of the government, led by Prime Minister Vladimír Mečiar. The party rule was characterized by a fundamental violation of civil liberties, rule of law and a halt to post-communist economic reforms, and European integration. After the 1998 parliamentary election, the party remained in opposition for two terms still as the strongest party.
