Aleksandar Đurić ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Ђурић; born 12 August 1970) is a Singaporean former professional footballer who serves as the principal for Sport Singapore and the ActiveSG Football Academy. He has played in the Singapore Cosmopolitan Football League, a top amateur football league in Singapore for SCC First prior to his retirement from professional football. Branko Đurić ( sh-Cyrl, Бранко Ђурић; born 28 May 1962), also known by his nickname Đuro ( Cyrillic: Ђуро), is a Bosnian actor, comedian, film director and musician, who lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Miodrag Đurić ( cnr, Миодраг Ђурић; 4 October 1933 – 27 November 2010), known as Dado ( cnr, Дадо), was a Montenegrin-born artist who spent most of his life and creative career in France. He is particularly known as a painter but was also active as an engraver, draftsman, book illustrator and sculptor. Early life and education (1933–1955) Đurić was born on 4 October 1933, in Cetinje, the historic capital of Montenegro, then part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and grew up in a middle-class family. Raјko Đurić (Serbian Cyrillic: Рајко Ђурић, rom, Raiko Juric; 3 October 1947 – 2 November 2020) was a Serbian Romani writer and academic. He was also politically active as the leader of one of Romani parties in Serbia - Roma Union of Serbia. Biography Đurić was born on 3 October 1947 in Malo Orašje, Smederevo, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. He studied philosophy at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy (1967–1972). In 1986 he obtained a Doctorate of Sociology writing the dissertation ''Culture of the Roma in S.F.R. Yugoslavia''. In 1991 he moved to Berlin avoiding involvement in the Yugoslavian wars. Mihailo Đurić (Serbian Cyrillic: Михаило Ђурић; 22 August 1925 – 25 November 2011) was one of Serbia's most prominent philosophers. He was a professor at the University of Belgrade's Law School and member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Within the frame of ancient Greek culture, he studied philosophy, law, politics and history, but also modern political theory and ethics. A majority of his works are within the field of philosophy and method of sociology, history of political theories and political science. In the past two decades, his work was mainly devoted to the study of Nietzsche and Heidegger. Antonije Đurić ( sr-cyr, Антоније Ђурић; 21 January 1929 – 15 August 2020) was a Serbian journalist, author, historian and publicist. Biography He finished high school in Užice at the Užice Gymnasium. For writing against the Communist regime, he was imprisoned for seven years in the Sremska Mitrovica Prison at the same time as Stevan Moljević, who died in prison, Đuro Đurović, Vojin Andrić, Kosta Kumanudi, Dragić Joksimović, who also died in prison, Fr. Sava Banković and Borislav Pekić. After his release from prison, he spent most of his working life working as a journalist for ''Ekspres politika''. Veljko Đurić Mišina ( sr-cyr, Вељко Ђурић Мишина; born 8 January 1953) is a Serbian historian, specializing in the history of the Serbian Orthodox Church, genocides and the Holocaust, and modern history of the Western Balkans. He is currently the director at the Museum of Genocide Victims in Belgrade. Biography Mišina was born in the village of Kosore near Sinj, PR Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia, into a Serb family.
