Đokica Stanojević
Đokica Stanojević ( sr-Cyrl, Ђокица Станојевић; born 1956) is a Kosovo Serb politician and community leader. During the 1990s, he served as mayor of Đakovica and was a parliamentarian in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Since the Kosovo War (1998–99), he has been active in seeking the return of Đakovica's displaced Serb population. Early life and career Stanojević was born to a prominent local family that had lived in Đakovica since the Middle Ages. At the time of his birth, the city was located in the Autonomous Region of Kosovo and Metohija in the People's Republic of Serbia, Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. Kosovo Serbs form the largest ethnic minority group in Kosovo (5–6%). The precise number of Kosovo Serbs is difficult to determine as they have boycotted national censuses. 2008 Serbian Local Elections In Kosovo
Local elections were held in Kosovo on 11 May 2008, together with Serbia's parliamentary elections and elections in Vojvodina. UNMIK authorities have criticized Serbia organizing elections saying only the UN can organize elections in Kosovo. Kosovo's President Fatmir Sejdiu accused Serbia of trying to challenge Kosovo's statehood. There is a total of 115,712 registered voters and they were able to vote in 295 voting places. Serb List (Kosovo)
The Serb List (; ) is a Kosovo Serbs, Serb minority List of political parties in Kosovo, political party in Kosovo. Aleksandar Vučić
Aleksandar Vučić, (born 5 March 1970) is a Serbian politician serving as President of Serbia since 2017. A founding member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), he previously served as President of the SNS from 2012 to 2023, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, First Deputy Prime Minister from 2012 to 2014, and Prime Minister of Serbia from 2014 to 2017. The Visoki Dečani Monastery is a medieval Serbian Orthodox Christian monastery located near Deçan, Kosovo.
