Tam Dinh (; born April 10, 1990) is a Vietnamese-American professional basketball player for the Hanoi Buffaloes of the Vietnam Basketball Association, VBA. Pro career Cantho Catfish (2016窶2019) In 2016, Dinh joined the Cantho Catfish of the Vietnam Basketball Association, VBA prior to the league's 2016 VBA season, inaugural season. At the conclusion of the season, he was named to the All-VBA First Team, finishing with averages of 19.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. Saigon Heat (2019窶菟resent) In 2019, Dinh signed a contract for the Saigon Heat of the ASEAN Basketball League. International career In 2017, Dinh received a Vietnamese passport. The 2024 VBA season () was the ninth season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The regular season began on 19 June and ended on 11 September. The 2021 VBA season was the sixth season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The regular season began on 10 July but was canceled on 27 August due to a new surge of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam. The season was scheduled to start on 4 June, with the regular season and postseason set to be played in bubbles in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The 2020 VBA season was the fifth season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The season was scheduled to start in May but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The regular season began on 15 October 2020 and ended on 20 November. The playoffs semi-finals began on 24 November 2020 and ended on 28 November 2020.
