Česko Slovenská SuperStar Season 2
''ÄŒesko Slovenská SuperStar'' (English: ''Czech&Slovak SuperStar'') is the joint Czech Republic, Czech-Slovakia, Slovak version of Idol series' ''Pop Idol'' merged from ''ÄŒesko hledá SuperStar'' and ''Slovensko hľadá SuperStar'' which previous to that had three individual seasons each. The second season premiered in February 2011 with castings held in Prague, Brno, Bratislava and KoÅ¡ice. It is broadcast on two channels: «Nova (Czech TV), TV Nova» (Czech Republic) and «MarkÃza» (Slovakia) which have also been the broadcast stations for the individual seasons. Also both hosts have been their hosts countries before as have been three out of the four judges. To legitimate a fair chance for each country's contestants to reach the final, twelve of the contestants will compete split into genders and nationalities in the semifinals, guaranteeing a 50% share for each country in the top 12. Leoš Mareš
Leoš Mareš (born 27 April 1976) is a Czech television and radio presenter and singer. He has hosted a number of singer search television programmes, including '' Česko hledá SuperStar'', ''X Factor'' and '' Hlas Česko Slovenska''. He joined '' Česko Slovensko má talent'' as a judge in 2013. He is one of the highest-paid television presenters in the Czech Republic. A 2014 ''Forbes'' report listed Mareš as one of the 50 most influential people in Czech media. Early life Mareš was born in the town of Beroun. He studied economics in the town of Cheb. He moved to Prague in 1997, joining national radio station Evropa 2. At he presented programmes including the breakfast show and the Pepsi Top 20. Music career Mareš released three albums between 2001 and 2003 via Universal Music Group.
