Ādaži Military Base
Ādaži () (formerly ) is a town in Pierīga, on the left bank of the Gauja river. The town is the administrative center of Ādaži Municipality, in the Vidzeme region of Latvia. It is located by the highway A1, 21.6 km from the center of Riga. Latvia's longest river, the Gauja, flows along the Ādaži River, and its tributary Vējupe divides the town into two parts. The town is sometimes popularly known due to the nearby ''Latfood'' factory producing ''Ādažu Čipsi'', the best known potato chip brand in Latvia. Ādaži also has an eponymous wakeboarding club on the Gauja. Ādaži has administrative offices, schools (Ādaži Elementary School, Ādaži Secondary School, and Ādaži Free Waldorf School), Kindergarten Strautins, several shops (Maxima, Rimi, Elvi) and service companies. Municipalities Of Latvia
The current administrative division of Latvia came into force on 1 July 2021. On 10 June 2020, the Saeima approved a municipal reform that would reduce the 110 municipalities and nine republic cities to 43 local government units consisting of 36 municipalities (, ''novads'') and seven state cities (''valstspilsētas, valstspilsēta''). Bishop Of Riga
The Archbishopric of Riga (, ) was a Catholic diocese and civil government in Medieval Livonia, subject to the Holy See. It was established in 1186 and ended in 1561. Ādaži Protected Landscape
Ādaži was established in 2004 as a protected landscape in Ādaži and Saulkrasti municipalities of Latvia. Pierīga, Gauja is on the right bank of the lower reaches Ādaži military poligone and its adjacent territories. The area was created to preserve Latvia's rare habitats created during military training - dry heaths and open inland dunes with sand dune meadows, bluish meadow meadows and mesotrophic lakes, as well as a significant number of specially protected plant and animal species. The area also includes the Lieluika and Mazuika lakes nature reserve. Lake Mazuika is recognized as a benchmark for a clear water lake in the Baltic region. Natura 2000 territory. European Route E67
European route E 67 is an E-road running from Prague in the Czech Republic to Estonia and by ferry to Finland. It goes via Prague, Wrocław, Warsaw, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki. The route is known as the Via Baltica between Warsaw and Tallinn, with a distance of . It is a significant road connection between the Baltic states and Poland. The route is mostly an ordinary road, but there are plans to convert it into a motorway or expressway, in Poland called S8 (326 of 379 km completed ) and S61 (178,6 of 235 km completed ). Enhanced Forward Presence (EFP) is a NATO-allied forward-deployed defense and deterrence military force in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. Baltezers is a village in Ādaži Parish, Ādaži Municipality in the historical region of Vidzeme, and the Riga Planning Region in Latvia. Bukulti
Bukulti is a neighbourhood of Riga, the capital of Latvia, located in the northeastern part of the Vidzeme Suburb. Demographics As of 2013, a survey was taken with residents of the neighbourhood and 62% said they enjoyed their life in Bukulti. 51% of surveyees claimed the best part about the area was the Baltezers Canal.
