Üllar Jörberg
Üllar "Jörpa" Jörberg (; 9 June 1941 – 26 December 2018) was an Estonian singer. Biography In school, he sang in a choir as well as an all-male vocal quartet. He graduated from Viljandi Secondary School No. 2 in 1961. Prior to serving in the Soviet Army, he studied physical education at the University of Tartu. He started singing professionally in 1967, playing solo gigs at the Kaseke restaurant in Tartu. He also later performed with the band Fix. He released dozens of records and over 600 songs over the span of his career; predominantly dance music. Many of his hits were Estonian-language translations of popular songs in other languages, but he did have some well-known originals as well. According to ''Kroonika'', his best-known songs include ''Mereranna tuul'' (; an Estonian-language cover of “ Agadoo”) and ''Kutse tantsule'' (; an Estonian-language cover of " I Can Make You Feel Like"). Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music. Heldur Jõgioja
Heldur Jõgioja (previously Heldur Aavik, born Bronisław Vjazhowsky; 21 September 1936 – 21 April 2010) was an Estonian musician, composer, writer, journalist. Jõgioja's name at birth was Bronisław Vjazhowsky, and later took the name Heldur Aavik, then Heldur Jõgioja. Jõgioja was born in Elva and graduated from the Faculty of Law of Tartu State University in 1964. Aftwewards, he worked as a lawyer in Kohtla-Järve and Tartu and worked as a reporter for ''Õhtuleht''. In 1974, he joined the musical ensemble Suveniir as a keyboardist and accordionist. In total, he created about 300 songs and more than 1000 song texts. He also published collections of poetry, wrote historical plays, novels and short stories. He was the owner of the record label LeHelMus. He died in Tartu. Voldemar Kuslap (born 24 September 1937) is an Estonian opera and operetta singer ( baritone) and occasional actor. Biography He was born in 1937 in the city of Oudova in the RSFSR. In 1968, he graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory. From 1965 to 2010, he sang in the choir of the Estonia Theatre. In total, he has done over 90 roles of opera and operettas. He has also appeared in several feature films, including ''Mis juhtus Andres Lapeteusega?'' TV3 is a commercial television channel targeted at an Estonian language audience owned by Providence Equity Partners. History It was founded in 1996 after two recently established television stations, EVTV and RTV, were merged. TV3 has two sister channels. TV6 is a television channel targeted at entertainment television channel in Estonia, launched in 2002. TV8 is an entertainment television channel, launched as a digital sister channel to TV3 in 2009. For several years, TV3 had better ratings than the other private channel, Kanal 2. The situation changed in 2006, when Kanal 2 made some big changes in their programme. TV3 ratings fell and shows had problems getting enough viewers to reach the Top 10 of the week. Later that year, programme director Jüri Pihel left TV3.
