Øystein Wormdal
Øystein Wormdal is a retired Norwegian association football, footballer who played for Orkdal IL and Rosenborg BK. A Defender (association football)#Full-back, right back, he was capped five times for Norway national football team, Norway. Club career He played for Orkdal during his youth, but after the club was relegated to Fourth Division after the 1970 season, Wormdal transferred to Rosenborg in the First Division. He debuted against Frigg Oslo FK, Frigg on 5 September 1971. He originally played as a center back, but was quickly transferred to the right back position. Despite Rosenborg winning the double (association football), double in his inaugural season, Wormdal did not have sufficient matches to claim either title. Christer Basma
Christer Basma (born 1 August 1972) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a defender. He played 16 consecutive seasons Tippeligaen, for Kongsvinger, Stabæk and Rosenborg. With 350 top division appearances, Basma has made the eighth-highest number of appearances in Eliteserien. Basma was capped 40 times for Norway. He has later worked as assistant coach of Ranheim. Club career Basma started his career with little Røyken og Spikkestad and then played for Bærum but his breakthrough came at Kongsvinger. He moved on to Stabæk, before he finally went to Rosenborg in 1998. With the Trondheim club he won Tippeligaen eight times and he featured in 40 Champions League games. Vegard Heggem
Vegard Heggem (born 13 July 1975) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a right back. He rose to prominence with Rosenborg, winning three league titles and a cup, and scoring a goal to knock Milan out of the UEFA Champions League. In 1998, he joined Liverpool, but was troubled by injury during his five seasons there before retiring. In a two-year international career, Heggem earned 20 caps for Norway, scoring once in his debut match. He was part of their squads at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000.
