Ørbæk
Ørbæk is a town in central Denmark, located in Nyborg municipality on the island of Funen. Ørbæk was until 2007 the seat of Ørbæk Municipality. History Ørbæk was first mentioned in 1231 as 'Ørbæc', which was the name of the brook that runs through the town. The town was formerly known as Ør, and the town later adopted the name of the brook. The name was likely changed in the late 1800s. Nyborg Municipality
Nyborg Municipality () is a ''Municipalities of Denmark, kommune'' in the Region of Southern Denmark on the east coast of the island of Funen in central Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 278 km2, and has a total population of 32,329 (2025). It borders Kerteminde Municipality to the north-west, Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality to the south-west, Svendborg Municipality to the south and is connected to Slagelse Municipality by the Great Belt Bridge. Until January 1, 2007 Ørbæk Municipality was a municipality (Danish language, Danish: ''List of municipalities of Denmark (1970–2006), kommune'') in the former Funen County, on the east coast of the island of Funen, in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 138.34 km2, and had a total population of 6,916 (2006). Its last mayor was Kaf Refslund, a member of the Venstre (Denmark), Venstre party. Ørbæk Municipality bordered Nyborg Municipality (1970-2006), Nyborg and Ullerslev Municipality to the north, Ã…rslev Municipality to the northwest, Ringe Municipality to the west, Ryslinge Municipality to the southwest and Gudme Municipality to the south. Kenneth Muhs
Kenneth Muhs (born 14 December 1972) is a Danish politician. He is a member of the party Venstre, and is the current mayor in Nyborg Municipality. Muhs is a major in the Danish Defence. Political career Muhs was first elected into political office at the 2001 Danish local elections, where he was elected as municipal councillor of Ørbæk Municipality. He remained a member of the municipal council until it was dissolved and merged with Nyborg and Ullerslev Municipality. He has been a member of Nyborg Municipality's municipal council since 2014, elected at the 2013 Danish local elections. Frilandsmuseet
Frilandsmuseet () is an open-air museum on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum is located in Lyngby on Kongevejen in North Zealand. The museum can be reached directly by bus number 184 from Nørreport Station in central Copenhagen or by S-train to Sorgenfri station. Buildings Opened in 1897, it moved to its present location in 1901. Covering 40 hectares, it is one of the largest and oldest open-air museums in the world. It is a department under the Danish National Museum and is part of the research done on agricultural history. The Region of Southern Denmark (, ; , ; ) is an administrative region of Denmark established on Monday 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, which abolished the traditional counties ("amter") and set up five larger regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the number of municipalities from 270 ( 271 before 2006) before 1 January 2007 to 98. Ringe is a town with a population of 6,822 (1 January 2025) on Funen in central Denmark. It is the seat of Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality and was the seat of the now abolished Ringe municipality. The main office of Rynkeby Foods, a major Danish producer of juice and squash, is located in Ringe.
