Öztürk Türkdoğan (born 10 November 1969, Kars, Turkey) is a lawyer and Human Rights activist and politician. He was the head of the Turkish Human Rights Association (Turkey), Human Rights Association (IHD), a member of the Wise People committee for the 2013–2015 PKK–Turkey peace process, peace process in 2013 and for the 2023 Turkish parliamentary election, parliamentary elections of May 2023, he has become a candidate to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the Party of Greens and the Left Future, Green Left Party (YSP). History It was founded in 2016 by Vedat Zencir, the first conscientious objector in Turkey. The Firat News Agency (ANF) (, ) is a Kurdish news agency that gathers and broadcasts news from the Middle East, broadly concerning Kurdish matters. The news agency has offices in Amsterdam and journalists around the world. It has been variously described as pro-Kurdish, pro- PKK, or PKK-affiliated. The CBC and Reuters have described the ANF as being "close" to the PKK, and Deutsche Welle states the two entities have "links". The BBC have alternately labelled the ANF "pro-Kurdish" and "pro-PKK". Eren Keskin (born April 24, 1959 in Bursa, Turkey) is a Kurdish lawyer and human rights activist in Turkey. She is the vice-president of the Turkish Human Rights Association (İHD) and a former president of its Istanbul branch. She co-founded the project "Legal Aid For Women Who Were Raped Or Otherwise Sexually Abused by National Security Forces”, to expose abuses happening to women in Turkish prisons. She has been arrested, imprisoned, and the object of numerous lawsuits in relation to her human rights activities. In 1995 she was imprisoned for her activities and was adopted as a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International.
