Yayladere (, ) is a town and seat of Yayladere District of Bingöl Province in Turkey. The mayor is Sabri Akyürek (Republican People's Party, CHP). Pembelik Dam
The Pembelik Dam is a gravity dam on the Peri River (a tributary of the Euphrates), in Karakoçan district of Elazığ Province, Turkey. Its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation and is the fourth dam in the Peri River cascade. Construction on the dam began in 2009 and its two generators were commissioned in February/March 2015. The tall roller-compacted concrete dam faced opposition from locals and construction was briefly suspended in 2014. It is owned and operated by Limak Energy and Bilgin Energy. Its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation and is the second dam in the Peri River cascade. Construction on the dam began in 2009 and its power station was commissioned in 2011. Bingöl Province
Bingöl Province (; ; ; ) is a province of Turkey. The province was known as Çapakçur Province () before 1945 when it was renamed as Bingöl Province. Its area is 8,003 km2, and its population is 282,556 (2022). The province encompasses 11 Belde, municipalities, 325 villages and 693 Hamlet (place), hamlets.
