Österåker Prison
The Österåker Prison ( sv, Anstalten Österåker, commonly known as ''Österåkersanstalten'') is a prison located in Österåker Municipality, thirty kilometers north of Stockholm, Sweden. It is a Class 2-security prison with a capacity for 146 inmates. The facility also contains a remand prison with the capacity for 80 inmates. The Österåker Prison was built in 1969 as a replacement for the Långholmen Prison in Stockholm. Since 1976 the prison is concentrated on inmates with different types of abuse problems. Österåker Municipality
Österåker Municipality ( sv, Österåkers kommun, ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Åkersberga, with a population of 26,727 (2005). From 1974 to 1982 Österåker was part of Vaxholm Municipality. Its location by the Stockholm archipelago, in the Roslagen area, attracts both people who settles here, often commuting to Stockholm, and visiting tourists. Österåker boasts several golf courses, many possibilities for canoeing, horse riding, fishing and other nature activities. ''Johnny Cash på Österåker'' () is a live album by country singer Johnny Cash released on Columbia Records in 1973, making it his 43rd overall release. The album features Cash's concert at the Österåker Prison in Sweden held on October 3, 1972. Its counterparts in concept are the more notable '' At Folsom Prison'' (1968), '' At San Quentin'' (1969), and '' A Concert Behind Prison Walls'' (1976). Unlike aforementioned, ''På Österåker'' does not contain any of Cash's most well-known songs; it does, however, include a version of Kris Kristofferson's " Me and Bobby McGee". 1971 Yugoslav Embassy Shooting
The 1971 Yugoslav Embassy shooting was a terrorist attack carried out by Croatian separatists affiliated with the Ustaše movement. It occurred on April 7, 1971, at the embassy of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in Stockholm, Sweden. Among the victims was Vladimir Rolović, the ambassador, who was shot by the attackers, and died a week later. Background On 10 February 1971, two Yugoslav men entered the Yugoslav Consulate in Gothenburg. They gathered and restrained all the Consulate staff on the premises, at knife and gunpoint. The two men, Blago Mikulić and Ivan Vujičević, demanded that the Yugoslav authorities release the convicted bomber Miljenko Hrkać, who was imprisoned in Yugoslavia and that he be brought to the Franco-controlled Spain with $20,000 in his pocket. Vladimir Rolović
Vladimir Rolović (21 May 1916 – 15 April 1971) was a Yugoslav politician, diplomat, and a former high officer of the State Security Administration (UDBA). Holder of the "Commemorative Medal of the Partisans of 1941" and as a former commander of the infamous Goli Otok prison, he was assassinated in 1971 while serving as the Yugoslav ambassador to Sweden by Anđelko Brajković and Miro Barešić, members of the Croatian National Resistance neo- Ustaša terrorist organization.
