Örjan Persson
Per Örjan Persson (27 August 1942) is a Swedish former football player who played as a midfielder. He played for Scottish clubs Dundee United and Rangers in the 1960s. He also represented Sweden at the 1970 FIFA World Cup in Mexico and the 1974 FIFA World Cup in West Germany. Career Persson was the first of five Scandinavian imports signed by Dundee United manager Jerry Kerr who was one of the first managers in Scotland to tap into the Scandinavian market to find talented and experienced players at an affordable price. Persson moved to Tannadice from Örgryte IS on 2 December 1964, the first overseas player to join the club. As there was no professionalism in Swedish football in the 1960s United did not have to pay a transfer fee. He made his debut along with the Danish striker Finn Døssing. Tannadice Park, officially known as The CalForth Construction Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Dundee, Scotland. The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, most commonly referred to as the Fairs Cup and sometimes as the European Fairs Cup or Fairs Cities' Cup, was a European football competition played between 1955 and 1971. Lennart Wing (born 7 August 1935) is a Swedish former Football (soccer), footballer and manager (association football), manager who played as a wing half. He began his senior career with Örgryte IS before moving to play professionally in Scotland, joining Dundee United F.C., Dundee United in 1965. He returned to Örgryte in 1967 and also played for Kungsbacka BI before retiring in 1970. He later managed Örgryte in 1976. Mogens Berg
Mogens Berg (born 8 June 1944) is a Danish former footballer, who played professionally as a winger for Scottish club Dundee United. He played eight games and scored one goal for the Denmark national football team. Career Born in Odense, Berg started his career with local club Boldklubben 1909 (B 1909). He helped B 1909 win the 1962 Danish Cup and 1964 Danish football championship trophies, and made his Danish national team debut in November 1964. He debuted under national manager Poul Petersen, and scored a goal as Denmark lost 2–4 to Greece. He played a further two national team games, before he moved abroad to play professionally for Dundee United in December 1964.
