Önsöz
''Önsöz'' (''Foreword'') is the seventh studio album by Turkish singer Gülşen. It was released on 22 December 2009 by Arista Records and Sony Music Entertainment. Content and release The album consisted of 11 songs in total, ten of which were written and composed by Gülşen herself, who took inspiration from the events in her own life when preparing the lyrics. It was recorded at Sarı Ev studios and produced and arranged by Ozan Çolakoğlu. Aside from its new songs, the album contains a cover of "Dillere Düşeceğiz Seninle", which was originally performed by Nazan Öncel for her 1994 album ''Ben Böyle Aşk Görmedim''. The songs "Bi' An Gel" and "Ezberbozan" ranked first and third on Türkçe Top 20 respectively. "Önsöz" and "Dillere Düşeceğiz Seninle" were also among the top 10 on the official chart, occupying the sixth and tenth place respectively. Gülşen (singer)
Gülşen Çolakoğlu (, ; born 29 May 1976) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Istanbul, she graduated from Şehremini High School. After finishing high school, Gülşen enrolled in Istanbul Technical University and at the same time began performing at bars and later left the university. In 1995, while performing at a bar, she was discovered by a composer and contracted with Raks Müzik for her first studio album. Gülşen's debut album, ''Be Adam'', was released in 1996, which made her known in the music industry, but she preferred to take a break from her professional career and instead focused on her marital life. In 2004, her fourth studio album ''Of... Of...'' became a hit in Turkey and a single with the same name as the album earned her both a Golden Butterfly Award and a Turkey Music Awards, Turkey Music Award. ''Beni Durdursan mı?'' (''Would You Stop Me?'') is the eighth studio album by Turkish singer Gülşen. It was released on 20 February 2013 by Doğan Music Company, her first album to be released by this company. Following the release of ''Önsöz'' in 2009, Gülşen released the singles "Yeni Biri" and "Sözde Ayrılık" in 2011, and in the same year began working on a new album with Ozan Çolakoğlu. She wrote all of the songs herself and composed a number of them on her own, and composed the rest together with the album's producer Çolakoğlu. The recording was done in Istanbul in 2012, and lasted until the early months of 2013. The album contained nine new songs by Gülşen, in addition to an acoustic version of "Seyre Dursun Aşk", which had been originally released on Çolakoğlu's album in 2012. Ozan Çolakoğlu
Ozan Çolakoğlu (, born 1 April 1972) is a Turkish composer, songwriter and music producer; famous for his work with various Turkish pop singers and his multiple film scores. He co-founded the production company ''Sarı Ev'' (Yellow House), but left it in 2010 to work for ''dB Müzik''. Life and career Ozan Çolakoğlu was born in Adana, Turkey in 1972. He attended the Berklee College of Music and his career started with Tarkan's first album called '' Yine Sensiz''. Besides working continuously with the Turkish pop idol, he also contributed to the albums of such notable artists like Nil Karaibrahimgil, Murat Boz or the well known all-female Turkish rock band, Pin-up. ''Ama Bir Farkla'' (''But with a Difference'') is the sixth studio album by Turkish singer Gülşen. It was released on 13 July 2007 by Rec by Saatci. It was her first and only album to be released by this company. Content Ufuk Yıldırım served as the album's arranger, while Gülşen and Ercan Saatçi wrote and composed the songs. For its first music video, Gülşen chose "Kara Böcükler", a song which features ironic elements. Two other music videos were made for the songs "E Bilemem Artık" and "Su Gibi Geçerdi Zaman", the first of which ranked second on Turkey's official music chart. Criticism The album's graphic design was criticized due to its similarities to Jessica Stam's photos taken by Mert Alaş and Marcus Piggott for a fashion shoot titled "Travel". Nihat Odabaşı (born 21 May 1968) is a Turkish people, Turkish fashion photographer and music video director. Odabaşı was born in Siverek. He had his elementary, middle, and high school education in Siverek, Diyarbakır and Istanbul respectively. After his graduation from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University, he worked as an advertising text writer and art director. He started directing music videos and in 1999 began working as a photographer. Throughout his career, he has directed music videos for various singers and worked as a photographer with numerous artists and brands. Gittern
The gittern was a relatively small gut-strung, round-backed instrument that first appeared in literature and pictorial representation during the 13th century in Western Europe (Iberian Peninsula, Italy, France, England).
