	Öhrlings Swedish Matchplay The Swedish Match Play Championship is a golf tournament played since 1904, held for both men and women. It is the oldest and most traditional golf tournament in Sweden. The name SM is a Swedish abbreviation for ''Svenska Mästerskapet'' 'Swedish Championship'. History From the first tournament in 1904 (for men) and 1911 (for women) until 1983, it was an amateur tournament, from 1910 open only for Swedish citizens, and the winner was the official Swedish champion. Since 1984, except 1985, the tournament has been open to both amateurs and professionals and for foreign citizens. If a foreigner wins, the best placed Swedish player becomes Swedish champion of the year. The men's tournament is part of the Swedish Golf Tour since 1986 and the Nordic Golf League since 1999. 	Skövde Skövde () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and urban centre in Skövde Municipality and Västra Götaland County, in the Västergötland, Västergötland (Western Gothland region) in central southern Sweden. 	Oscar Lengdén Oscar Lengdén (born 12 May 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer. Lengdén spent four years and won two NCAA Division titles at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale before he returned to Europe and turned professional in 2015. Competing in his native Sweden he won four times in six weeks to earn his place on the Nordic Golf League, where he won twice. He finished third on the 2016 Nordic Golf League ranking to become a Challenge Tour rookie in 2017. Lengdén made it to the final qualifying stage at the European Tour Qualifying School in 2016 but failed by one stroke to earn a European Tour card. He made a handful of starts on the 2017 European Tour and finished tied for fifth at the D+D Real Czech Masters. 	Adam Blommé Adam Blommé (born 19 April 1996) is a Swedish professional golfer. He won the 2021 Swedish Golf Tour Order of Merit and joined the Challenge Tour, where he won the 2023 Swiss Challenge and finished 6th in the rankings to graduate to the European Tour. Amateur career Blommé won several titles on the junior circuit in Sweden. He lost a playoff to Marcus Kinhult at the 2014 Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship, and was runner-up at the event again in 2015.
