ÖFB Frauen Bundesliga
The ÖFB Frauen Bundesliga (German for "ÖFB Women Federal League"), known as the ADMIRAL Frauen Bundesliga for sponsorship reasons, is the top level women's football league in Austria. Since 2002, the champion qualifies for the UEFA Women's Champions League. In the 2000s, SV Neulengbach dominated the league, winning the championships for twelve consecutive years (from 2003 until 2014). Since then, SKN St. Pölten have emerged as the league's dominant team, winning eight consecutive titles as of the 2022–23 season. Format From the 2010–11 season onwards, the ten teams have played each other twice, once home and once away. The 2016–17 ÖFB-Frauenliga is the 46th season of the women's football top-level league in Austria. FSK St. Pölten-Spratzern were the defending champion. They renamed to FSK St. Pölten-Spratzern, SKN St. Pölten to appeal a broader region and won their third title in a row this season. Annabel Schasching
Annabel Schasching (born 26 July 2002) is an Austrian footballer. She plays for the Austria women's national football team. Club career Schasching started her senior career at St. Pölten in 2018, then she joined Sturm Graz in 2020. In December 2022, it was announced that Schasching would join German side SC Freiburg during the winter transfer window in January 2023. International career Schasching played for Austria U17 at the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship. In March 2021, she received her first call-up for the Austrian national team by coach Irene Fuhrmann. However, she was unable to feature in any matches in April that year, as several Sturm Graz players tested positive for COVID-19. On 30 November 2021, she made her international debut in an 8–0 victory over Luxembourg during the 2023 World Cup qualification. Lisa Kolb
Lisa Kolb (born 4 May 2001) is an Austrian footballer who plays as a forward for Bundesliga club SC Freiburg and the Austria national team. Club career Kolb has played for Neulengbach in Austria. Lisa Kolb started her club career in 2009 at VBSC Vöcklabrucker Sportclub, in the 2015/16 season she played for Sportunion Volksbank Vöcklamarkt. In 2015 she was top scorer in the U-14 national championship. Fanny Vágó (born 23 July 1991) is a Hungarian women's association football, football striker (association football), striker and manager, who plays for MTK Hungária FC of the Női NB I.
