	Õhne The Õhne (also known as ''Suislepa'' and ''Hoomuli'' River; lv, Omuļupe) is a long river in southern Estonia. Its source is Veisjärv Lake and mouth Võrtsjärv Lake, it also flows some kilometres in Latvia. The basin area of Õhne is 573 km2. The towns of Tõrva, Vooru and Suislepa Suislepa is a village in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. 	Suislepa Suislepa is a village in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. Until the 2017 administrative reform of Estonian municipalities the village was located in Tarvastu Parish.The population as of 2014 was 305 people. It is 42 km (26 miles) southeast of the town of Viljandi, near the southern coast of Võrtsjärv lake. History The village of Suislepa is located near the Õhne river (also called the Suislepa, Omuli, and Omeli river), first mentioned in 1478 in the German chronicles ''Omelsche Hecke'' by Baltic German settlers. In the 17th century, German nobles Jürgen Schütte Bultler and Franz Scutten began implementing the construction of a large manor in Suislepa. The estate went through a succession of owners until it fell into ruin in the early 19th century. In 1805, Major Karl Gustav von Krüdener Moritz, the son of German Baron von Mengden, began construction on the new Suislepa manor house and outbuildings. 	Tõrva Tõrva () is a town ( et, linn) in Tõrva Parish, Valga County, southern Estonia. It is situated on the banks of Õhne River. Tõrva has an area of and a population of 2800 (as of 1 January 2009), making it the second largest of the three towns in Valga County. Tõrva borough () gained its town rights on 2 July 1926. 	Vooru Vooru (locally, Vuuru) is a village in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. It is 34 km (21 miles) southeast of the town of Viljandi, 2 km (1 mile) south of the village of Suislepa, near the southern border of Valga County and the Õhne river. As of 2011, the population of Vooru was 65, a decrease from 101 in the 2000 census. The ruins of the pre-Christian Vooru Castle hill fort are located in Vooru. The castle was built in the middle 6th-7th centuries AD and was in use until the 11th century. It was the largest stronghold of the native Livonian population in Viljandi County from that era. Archaeological excavations of the ruins in 1969-1970 reveal the stronghold was burned on at least three occasions before being abandoned. The site is now on the National Register of Cultural Monuments. picture info	Võrtsjärv Lake Võrtsjärv (; german: Wirzsee) is a lake in southern Estonia with an area of 270 km² (104 mi²). It is the second largest lake in Estonia (behind Lake Peipus), and the largest lake situated entirely within Estonia. The shallow lake is 33.7 m (111 ft) above sea level. The river Emajõgi flows from Lake Võrtsjärv to Lake Peipus. History The lake basin existed before the Last Ice Age, but was then transformed by moving ice sheets which partly eroded the lake wall and partly filled the depression with deposits. In its present form the lake has existed since the Middle Holocene. It was first mentioned in the Livonian Chronicle of Henry, where it is called ''Worcegerwe''.
