Óscar Cantón Zetina (born 1 August 1953) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) who previously belonged to both the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). Cantón Zetina served as a PRI senator for Tabasco Tabasco, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Tabasco, is one of the Political divisions of Mexico, 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. The Municipality of Centro is one of the 17 municipalities of the Mexican state of Tabasco. Its municipal seat is located in the city of Villahermosa. The municipality had a 2010 census population of 640,359 inhabitants, 353,577 (55.2%) of whom lived in its municipal seat, Villahermosa. The 5th federal electoral district of Tabasco () is one of the Federal electoral districts of Mexico, 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies (Mexico), Chamber of Deputies and one of six such districts in the States of Mexico, state of Tabasco. It elects one deputy (legislator), deputy to the lower house of Congress (Mexico), Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the Plurality voting system, first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the Electoral regions of Mexico, third region.
