Ícolo E Bengo
Ícolo e Bengo (English language, English: Icolo and Bengo) was a former Municipalities of Angola, municipality in the provinces of Angola, province of Luanda Province, Luanda in Angola. It had a population of 81,144 in 2014. It was disestablished when the province of Icolo e Bengo Province, Icolo e Bengo was created in 2024. History As per decree 29/11, of 1 September 2011, which moved this municipality, along with the municipality of Quiçama from Bengo Province to Luanda Province. The others being Luanda Municipality, Luanda, Belas, Luanda, Belas, Cazenga, Cacuaco, Viana, Luanda, Viana and Quiçama. The transfer documents were signed on 2 April 2012 in Catete, Icolo e Bengo, Catete by the governors of Luanda Province, Bento Bento, and João Miranda, of Bengo Province, in the presence of the minister for territorial administration, Bornito de Sousa. Agostinho Neto
António Agostinho Neto (17 September 1922 – 10 September 1979) was an Angolan Communism, communist politician and poet. He served as the first president of Angola from 1975 to 1979, having led the MPLA, Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) in the Angolan War of Independence, war for independence (1961–1974). Cuanza Norte Province
The Cuanza Norte Province (; ) is province of Angola. N'dalatando is the capital and the province has an area of 24,110 km2 and a population of 443,386. Manuel Pedro Pacavira was born here and is a former provincial governor. The 1,400 meter long Capanda Dam is located in this province. Cuanza Norte lies on the northern bank of the Cuanza River. It had been a territory of Ngola Kingdom. In 1914, Norton de Matos created District of Cuanza which was divided into Cuanza Norte and Cuanza Sul Provinces in 1917.
