Épicerie Boulud is a chain of épiceries, or French groceries. The chain was founded by chef Daniel Boulud, who had already been in the restaurant industry for 42 years at that point. Épicerie Boulud was his first retail concept. Locations There have been six locations exclusively in New York City. Daniel Boulud
Daniel Boulud (born 25 March 1955) is a French chef and restaurateur with restaurants in New York City, Palm Beach, Miami, Toronto, Montréal, Singapore, the Bahamas, and Dubai. He is best known for his eponymous restaurant Daniel, opened in New York City in 1993, which currently holds one Michelin star. The Lipstick Building, also known as 885 Third Avenue and 53rd at Third, is a office building at Third Avenue between 53rd Street and 54th Street in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It was completed in 1986 and has 34 floors. The building was designed by John Burgee and Philip Johnson for Hines Interests and was developer Gerald D. Hines's first project in New York City. The building's nickname is derived from its shape and color, which resembles a tube of lipstick. One Vanderbilt is a 73-story supertall skyscraper at the corner of 42nd Street (Manhattan), 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox for developer SL Green Realty, the skyscraper opened in 2020. 919 Third Avenue is an office building in at the intersection of Third Avenue and East 55th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, U.S. Built in 1971, the building is tall with 47 floors, and is tied with four other buildings, 750 7th Avenue, the New York Life Building, Tower 49, and The Epic in its position as the 118th tallest building in New York.
