Émilie Boulard
Émilie Boulard (born 23 August 1999) is a French rugby union player who plays for the France women's national rugby union team as a full-back. She won the International Rugby Players Women's Try of the Year at the 2021 World Rugby Awards. She represented France at the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup, played in late 2022 after being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Career Boulard began her club rugby aged 18 playing for RC Chilly-Mazarin. She won her first senior cap in April 2021 against Wales in the Women's Six Nations Championship. In doing so she became the first Chilly-Mazarin player ever to be selected to play for France. She subsequently won the International Rugby Players Women's Try of the Year at the 2021 World Rugby Awards, for a try she scored in her debut game against Wales. Blagnac Rugby
Blagnac Rugby, previously known as Blagnac Sporting Club Rugby and commonly known as Blagnac, is a French rugby union team that currently takes part in Nationale, the third-tier of the countries rugby system. The club is currently attempting to make a comeback to the professional ranks after having been relegated due to both sporting and financial issues. In 2007-08, the club played in France's second professional level, Rugby Pro D2, but finished bottom of the table. This automatically led to their relegation to the first amateur level, Fédérale 1, but a postseason audit revealed financial problems serious enough that French sporting authorities forcibly relegated them further to Fédérale 2. The Football Club de Grenoble Rugby (FCG) is a French rugby union club based in Grenoble and founded in 1892. FCG was champion of France in 1953–54 French Rugby Union Championship, 1954 and runner-up in 1992–93 French Rugby Union Championship, 1993 during a controversial final, being deprived of the title of champion of France following a refereeing error. Élite 1 Féminine (since 2018, and previously Top 8 from 2015 to 2018) is the top national league for women's rugby union clubs in France. It was founded from the 1971–1972 season under the aegis of the French Women's Rugby Association before being taken over by the French Women's Rugby Federation, it has been organized by the French Rugby Federation since 1989. The first season was won by the ASVEL Rugby women's side. The championship takes place in two phases: a so-called qualification phase, which is contested by all the teams, and a final phase which is played by direct elimination. Laure Bourdon Sansus (née Sansus, born 21 June 1994) is a former French rugby union player. Biography Originally from Toutens, she attended the rugby school of Labastide-Beauvoir. She then joined the Saint-Orens rugby féminin before being recruited by l'Avenir Fonsorbais rugby féminin (which later became Stade toulousain). On 6 February 2016, in Bourg-en-Bresse, she made her international debut for France in a 39-0 victory over Italy. Sansus paused her career during the 2017-18 season, before returning to play with Stade toulousain for the 2018-19 season. That season, she made her first appearance in the French women's rugby championship, as Stade toulousain lost 22-13 to Stade Maurice-Trélut.
