Émile Fiévet
Émile Léon Victor Fiévet (25 May 1886 – 23 November 1952) was a French footballer who played as a defender for Olympique de Pantin and the French national team in the 1910s. He is best known for scoring a brace in the first-ever Coupe de France final in 1918. Career Born on 25 May 1886 in Pantin, Fiévet began his football career at his hometown club Olympique de Pantin in 1911, aged 25. The following year, on 7 March 1912, he earned his first (and only) international cap in a friendly match against Italy in Turin, helping France achieve its first-ever victory over the Italians (4–3). A few months later, he was selected by the French Interfederal Committee (CFI) for the football tournament at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, but at the last moment, France withdrew. The official reports wrongly refer to him as Paul Achille Fiévet, born on 21 April 1886. 1917–18 Coupe De France
The 1917–18 Coupe de France (officially Coupe Charles–Simon 1917–18) was the first season of the most prestigious cup competition in France. The competition was open to all clubs who were affiliated with an organisation that was a member of the Comité français interfédéral (CFI). The cup was named after Charles Simon, the Secretary-General of the CFI at the outbreak of World War I, who died in battle in 1915. Forty-eight clubs competed in the cup and Olympique de Pantin, Olympique Pantin defeated FC Lyon 3–0 in the final. CASG Paris
Club Athlétique de Société Générale, also known as CASG Paris, was a French football club. Founded in 1903 it was the sporting club for the bank Société Générale and they got the nickname "The Bankers". In 1917 the team played with a sky blue and white striped jersey. The club changed its name in 1919 to Club athlétique des sports généraux (''Athletic Club of General Sports'') after the request of FFF. Since then people called them "The Generals". The 1916 Coupe de France was a football competition organized by the French Interfederal Committee (CFI) between the champions of each federation that makes up the said committee. Due to its similarities to CFI's previous inter-federation national competition, the Trophée de France, which had been contested every year from 1907 until the outbreak of the First World War in 1914, many historians have labeled this tournament as its 9th and last edition. Some sources have wrongly claimed that this tournament was in fact the first unofficial edition of the Coupe de France, which was established in the following year by the CFI, but this is not true since the latter was open to all clubs from different federations.
