TCR Europe Touring Car Series
The TCR Europe Touring Car Series is an annual touring car racing event that is held at various locations across Europe. The series is run in accordance with the TCR Touring Car regulations with production-based cars that are front-wheel drive and powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged engines. History On 15 October 2015, Marcello Lotti revealed plans for a European Series including one round from each TCR European championship (Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Russia and Benelux), starting from 2016. On 26 February 2016, the European Trophy was launched, with six rounds (Spanish championship was excluded for not having an own series and Benelux series had two rounds). Italian Touring Car Championship
The Italian Superturismo Championship (Campionato Italiano Superturismo) is Italy's national motorsport series for touring cars. It was established in 1987 and its drivers' title has been held by such notable drivers as Le Mans winners Emanuele Pirro and Rinaldo Capello, and two-time Champ Car champion Alex Zanardi. History Established in 1987 under Group A rules the series saw champions like Johnny Cecotto, Roberto Ravaglia and Nicola Larini winning the title before switching to Supertouring regulations in 1993. The first season of D2 Class saw the battel between Roberto Ravaglia with BMW 318i, Fabrizio Giovanardi with Peugeot 405 and Gabriele Tarquini with Alfa Romeo 155. ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship
The ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship is a touring car racing series based in Germany. History On 16 September 2015, the German Series was launched by ADAC and Engstler Motorsport, who already run in the International Series. The new category runs in the same events as ADAC GT Masters and ADAC Formula 4 as well as Deutscher Tourenwagen Cup (formerly ADAC Procar) until the series was disbanded in 2016. Touring Car Endurance Series
The Touring Car Endurance Series (abbreviated as TCES) or 24H TCE Series (since 2018) is a touring car racing series developed by Touring Car Endurance Series#Creventic, Creventic and with approval from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The calendar consists only of Endurance racing (motorsport), 24-hour and 12-hour races. Creventic Netherlands, Dutch agency Creventic is the organiser and promoter of the series. Their goals are to organise races with "low costs, a convivial atmosphere with teams and drivers from all over the world and fair competition on the track." In co-operation with the Dutch National Racing Team (DNRT) – one of the biggest motorsport organisations of the Benelux – they organised the inaugural Dubai 24 Hour in 2006. Marco Butti (born 29 March 2005 in Como, Italy) is a racing driver, who currently competes in Touring car racing, Sports car racing and Rallying. Racing career Karting At the age of 5, he began Karting, when he received his first kart as a gift from his father, Fabio Butti, owner of the family dealership Butticars and several rally teams. Since then, Marco participated in various regional, national and international championships, achieving notable victories and titles.
