Édison Fernando Vega Obando (born 8 March 1990) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays for DelfÃn. Club career Vega began playing football with Imbabura. He joined Deportivo Quito in 2012. In 2015 he played for Barcelona SC. He joined L.D.U. Quito in 2016. International career He made his international debut for the Ecuador national football team in a 2-0 victory over Jamaica on September 7, 2018. The 2015 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2015 Copa Bridgestone Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 56th edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. 2019 Copa Ecuador
The 2019 Copa Ecuador was the second edition of the Copa Ecuador, Ecuador's domestic football cup. It began with the first round on 10 November 2018 and concluded with its double-legged final on 10 and 16 November 2019. LDU Quito were the winners, beating DelfÃn on away goals after tying 3–3 on aggregate score. They would have qualified for the 2020 Copa Sudamericana, but since they had already qualified for international competition through their league performance as well as the runners-up and both semifinalists, the berth was reallocated to the ninth-placed team of the league, El Nacional. The 2022 Campeonato Ecuatoriano de Fútbol Serie A, known as the LigaPro Betcris 2022 for sponsoring purposes, was the 64th season of the Serie A, Ecuador's top tier football league, and the fourth under the management of the ''Liga Profesional de Fútbol del Ecuador'' (or LigaPro). The season began on 18 February and ended on 13 November 2022. Aucas won their first Serie A title in this season, defeating Barcelona in the finals by a 1–0 aggregate score. The 2020 Supercopa Ecuador was the first edition of the Supercopa Ecuador, Ecuador's football super cup. The Supercopa Ecuador (''Ecuador Supercup'') is an annual one-match football official competition in Ecuador organised by the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) to be played by the champions of the Ecuadorian Serie A and the Copa Ecuador of the previous season, starting from 2020.
