Åsta Hjelm
Gerd Åsta Hjelm Arnesen (December 21, 1919 – April 4, 2003) was a Norwegian composer and lyricist. She wrote a number of Lille Grethe's hits, including "Teddyen min" (My Teddy). Hjelm also wrote songs for other artists, such as "Brevet jeg aldri sendte" (The Letter I Never Sent) for Åse Wentzel and "Flyktningegutten" (The Refugee Boy) for Harald Dyrkorn. She was appointed honorary ambassador of Horten in 1997. Grethe Kausland ( Nilsen; 3 July 1947 – 16 November 2007) was a Norwegian singer, performer and actress. Åse Wentzel
Åse Carola Wentzel Larsen, née Helmersen (2 January 1924 – 30 August 2009) was a Norwegian pop singer. She was born in Trondheim as a daughter of Henry Helmersen (1895–1932) and Magnhild Sørum (1897–1943). In 1943 she married violinist Odd Wentzel Larsen (1919–1988). They had the daughter Magni Wentzel. She was a well-known Schlager music, schlager singer in the 1950s and 1960s, with hits such as "Domino" (1951), "Du, du, du" (1953), "Vaya con Dios (song), Vaya Con Dios" (1953 with Thor Raymond) and "Midnattstango" (1963 with Jan Høiland). The latter reached #1 on the singles chart VG-lista 1963. She died in August 2009. She received a Gammleng Award in 1985. ''Selv om de er små'' (Even If They Are Little) is a Norwegian family film starring Lille Grethe. The film premiered on December 26, 1957. Plot Brit's mother and father are divorced. Brit lives with her mother in Oslo, but she feels strongly attracted to her father. She is no longer allowed to visit him because he has remarried to a cabaret singer. Her father is a composer, and her mother wants to keep her daughter away from this artistic environment. However, Brit wants to go to her father. During her summer vacation, she escapes from the children's camp. She hikes along a country road and gets a ride with a scrap dealer. He understands that something is troubling Brit and wants to help her. Brit leaves him, and she gets a ride from an engineer.
