Äventyr I Natten
''Äventyr i natten'' () is the only studio album by Angel (Swedish band), Angel, a Swedish girl pop band. The album was released in 1992 by Polydor Records and the band participated at Melodifestivalen 1992, Melodifestivalen with the song "Venus butterfly". The hit single "Sommaren i city", which peaked 7th place in Topplistan (present-day ''Sverigetopplistan'') a year earlier, appeared on the album. The producers were Bobby Ljunggren and Håkan Almqvist. Angel (Swedish Band)
Angel was a Swedish girl pop group from Degerfors, Degerfors, Sweden in the early 1990s. They debuted with their single "Sommaren i City" and have only released one album ever since. Later, the band did a come back with several reunion shows. History In 1991, the band was formed by Linda Dahl, Linda Jansson, Jessica Larsson, Maria Zaring and Linda Gustavsson. They originated from Degerfors and Karlskoga respectively, and gained major fame with their debut single "Sommaren i City" when it was released the same year. It was co-written by Bobby Ljunggren and peaked 7th place in the ''Topplistan'' (present-day ''Sverigetopplistan'') charts upon its release. "Sommaren i city" is a song written by Bobby Ljunggren, Håkan Almqvist and Eva Lindblad, and recorded by Swedish band Angel. The single was released in 1991 and became a hit upon release. It appeared on their 1992 album ''Äventyr i natten''. The song charted on the Svensktoppen for 12 weeks between 1 September and 17 November 1991, peaking at number three. The track was also recorded by the band Lollipops for their 2001 album ''Vårat sommarlov'', and Markus Landgren, Hannah Westin and Ida Hellberg from on the reality television show Fame Factory in 2003. Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song "", written by Niklas Strömstedt, and performed by Christer Björkman. The Swedish participating broadcaster, (SVT), selected its entry through 1992. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, based on sales data from IFPI Sverige. It was formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and has been known by its current name since October 2007. Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. Bert Willis Karlsson (born 21 June 1945) is a Swedish record company manager, entrepreneur, and former politician ( Member of Parliament 1991–1994) and front figure of the New Democracy () party.
