ﾃ］gel Guastella (Buenos Aires, 7 November 1931 - San Miguel de Tucumﾃ｡n, 26 September 2016) was an Argentine rugby union footballer and coach. He played as fly-half. Biography Guastella was a founding member of Club Pueyrredﾃｳn, of which he was a player for 10 years and then, a coach. In 2000, Guastella moved to San Miguel de Tucumﾃ｡n, where he spent his last years of life, being chairman of Tucumﾃ｡n Lawn Tennis Club and of Uniﾃｳn de Rugby de Tucumﾃ｡n. Career Guastella was an Argentine international with the Pumas between 1956 and 1960. He was first capped during a match against an Oxford and Cambridge XV in Buenos Aires, on 16 September 1956. Hﾃｩctor Luis Silva (1 July 1945 – 17 May 2021) was an Argentine rugby union footballer and coach, who coached Argentina in the 1987 Rugby World Cup. Biography Between 14 and 18 years, he played rugby and basketball; he practiced rugby in the youth team of his city, Rugby Club Los Tilos from La Plata, and at 18 years he was in the first team; at 20 years, in 1965, he debuted for Argentina in a test match against the Junior Springboks in South Africa, during a tour which saw 11 wins in 16 matches. The Campeonato Argentino de Mayores (also known as Campeonato Argentino) was an annual rugby union competition held in Argentina for provinces of Argentina, provincial teams. The 1987 Rugby World Cup was the first Rugby World Cup. It was co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia 窶 New Zealand hosted 21 matches (17 pool stage matches, two semi-finals, the third-place play-off and the final) while Australia hosted 11 matches (seven pool matches, two quarter-finals and both semi-finals). Gabriel Travaglini (born in Buenos Aires, 14 February 1958) is an Argentine retired rugby union player. He played as number 8. He played for CASI for all of his entire career. As of April 2022, he is the chairman of Uniﾃｳn Argentina de Rugby. Career Travaglini debuted with Club Atlﾃｩtico San Isidro against Banco Naciﾃｳn, in September 1977, playing as lock. Between 1980 and 1986, Travaglini was the captain for CASI. His first match for Argentina was against Italy, on 24 October 1978. He was also part of the 1987 Rugby World Cup Pumas roster, playing all the three matches, ending his international career in the pool stage match against the All Blacks. Rafael M. Madero (born 16 July 1958 in Buenos Aires) is a former Argentine rugby union player and coach. He played as a fullback, center, and fly-half. Career Starting his career in the SIC, Madero played for the team until 1990; as a wing, centre, and rarely as fly-half, he won eight URBA titles from 1977 to 1988.
