Águila Solitaria
Águila Solitaria (born August 31, 1954) is a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. Águila Solitaria's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. His ring name, Águila Solitario, is Spanish for "Lone Eagle", which is reflected in the eagle wing design on his mask. Águila Soltaria made his professional wrestling debut in 1978 and since 1997 has only wrestled a limited schedule. Professional wrestling career Águila Solitaria made his debut in 1978 after training under Hércules Flores and Tom Mix, adopting the winged black and silver mask that became his trademark in the following years. Jesús Javier Hernández Silva (December 24, 1971 – October 26, 1993) was a Mexican professional wrestler known under the ring name Oro (''Gold''), a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestling, professional wrestler. Hernández died in 1993 as a direct result of a wrestling match. He was a second-generation wrestler, and several of his brothers and cousins were also wrestlers. Jose Luis Arias Romero (December 20, 1951 – December 29, 2013), was a Mexican professional wrestler who wrestled in Mexico, the United States and Japan, under the ring name Ari Romero. Romero earned the nickname "El Rey del Tenedor" ("The King of the Fork") by using a fork to make his adversaries bleed in his matches. Antonio Hipolito Peña Herrada (June 13, 1951 – October 5, 2006) was a Mexican professional wrestling promoter who founded the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) promotion in 1992. Peña's promotion reached its height of popularity in the early 1990s prior to the 1994 downturn of the Mexican economy, but continues to operate. Peña's AAA is the promotion largely responsible for bringing the ''lucha libre'' style to the United States, with AAA wrestlers such as Rey Misterio Jr., Psicosis, La Parka, Konnan and others eventually competing for American promotions.
