Àlex Monner
Àlex Monner Zubizarreta (born 27 January 1995) is a Spanish actor. He is known for his role as Lleó in the Catalan language, Catalan television series ''Polseres vermelles''. Monner was born in Barcelona. He debuted in Pau Freixa's film ''Herois'', and then had a television role in the TV3 (Catalonia), TV3 series Polseres vermelles, scripted by Albert Espinosa and again directed by Freixa. He played Lleó, a young man who lost a leg because of cancer. In 2012, he featured in ''REC 3: Génesis'' as Adrián. He has collaborated with Freixas several times in recent years, in the Telecinco series Sé quién eres, the first Spanish drama to be shown on the BBC, and in ''Cites'', the Catalan version of the British series ''Dates (TV series), Dates''. He has appeared in roles on Televisió de Catalunya, TNT (U.S. TV network), TNT, Antena 3 (Spain), Antena 3, the Telefe channel of Argentina, and Monte Carlo TV of Uruguay. ''Polseres vermelles'' (, literally "Red bracelets", known in English language, English as ''The Red Band Society'') is a Catalonia, Catalan television show, created by Albert Espinosa. He and director-producer Pau Freixas had previously worked together on the film '. The show draws on Espinosa's childhood experiences, telling the story of a group of children and teenagers who meet as patients in the children's wing of a hospital. The first season of the show, originally planned for four seasons, aired on TV3 (Catalonia), TV3 in 2011, with a second one premiering in January 2013. The Spanish channel Antena 3 (Spain), Antena 3 aired the first season, dubbed into Spanish as ''Pulseras rojas'', in summer 2012 and the second one in late 2013. Francisco Plaza Trinidad (born 8 February 1973), simply known as Paco Plaza, is a Spanish film director known for his works in the horror genre. He is the co-creator of the ''REC'' zombie film franchise. Early life and education Plaza was born on 8 February 1973 in Valencia. Isaki Lacuesta
Isaki Lacuesta (born 28 November 1975) is a Spanish film director from Catalonia. His work includes documentary film, narrative film and video art. Lacuesta was born into a family of Basque origin. He studied audiovisual communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and obtained his Master's Degree in documentary film making at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, where he now works as a lecturer in documentary film making. He also teaches at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University, the Centre d'estudis cinematogràfics de Catalunya, and the University of Girona. He is a longtime collaborator and domestic partner of Isa Campo, after whom he rebranded his first name as Isaki (he is actually named Iñaki).
