''¡GarcÃa!'' (or ''GarcÃa!'') is a Spanish television series based on the graphic novel by Santiago GarcÃa and Luis Bustos. Created by Sara Antuña and Carlos de Pando for HBO Max, it stars Francisco Ortiz and Veki Velilla. Eugenio Mira directed the 6 episodes. Premise Set in a version of current-day Spain on the verge of societal collapse, the fiction follows Antonia, a reporter who accidentally unravels a decades-old plot concerning a super-agent created in the 1950s by the Francoist secret services, GarcÃa, who was subsequently cryogenized. The latter, defrosted by Antonia, finds himself dazed and confused in current-day Spain. Francisco Reyes (actor)
Francisco Reyes is a Spanish stage, film, and television actor. Biography He trained as an actor at the Madrid's RESAD, but developed his early career as an actor in New York theatres from 2004 to 2018. He featured in Juan Mayorga's play ''Way to Heaven (play), Himmelweg'' (''Way to Heaven'') as a Nazi officer, earning critical acclaim and winning an Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors#HOLA Awards, HOLA Award for Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor in 2011. Reyes' performance as Rodrigo Alvarado in Rodrigo Sorogoyen's political thriller ''The Realm (film), The Realm'' (2018) earned him a nomination to the Goya Award for Best New Actor at the 33rd Goya Awards. Early television work include appearances in ''Vergüenza (TV series), Vergüenza'' and ''Paquita Salas''.
