"(It Goes Like) Nanana" is a song by South Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou, released as the lead single from her forthcoming debut album on 15 June 2023. It is her first single to be issued through XL Recordings. Background In a press release, Gou stated: "There's a feeling we all know but is hard to describe, that feeling of love, warmth and excitement when you’re surrounded by friends and loved ones and the energy speaks for itself. It's difficult to put into words but to me it goes 'nanana!'" Critical reception Henry Ivry of ''Resident Advisor'' called it "full-on Café del Mar worship" with "vintage rave chords elbow ngin over chunky, swung drums and a forlorn synth that has shades of Eurodance". Although he felt that "the lyrics are a bit silly, they're catchy" and "there is nothing, in short, subtle about the track, but who cares—this is dance pop down to a science". Peggy Gou
Peggy Gou is a South Korean DJ and record producer based in Germany. She has released seven EPs on record labels including Ninja Tune and Phonica. In 2019, she launched her own independent record label, Gudu Records, and released a DJ-Kicks compilation, '' DJ-Kicks: Peggy Gou'', on !k7 Records. Early life and education Peggy Gou was born Kim Min-ji, in Incheon, South Korea, on 3 July 1991. Her father, Kim Chang-yong, is a former journalist, a professor of mass communication at Inje University and standing commissioner of Korea Communications Commission. Gou began classical piano lessons at age 8. At age 14, her parents sent her to London, England to study English. She moved back to Korea when she was 18 years old, but six months later she returned to London to study fashion at the London College of Fashion. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines. The first one was a top 50 compiled by ZPAV, based on shipment, not sales, which continues to be published to date. The other was a top 100 called Gorąca Setka (English: Hot 100), printed monthly in ''Gazeta Muzyczna''. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI).
