''Per 100.000 dollari ti ammazzo'' (literally ''I will kill you for 100,000 dollars'' or ''100,000 dollars for killing you'', internationally released as ''Vengeance is Mine'', ''For One Hundred Thousand Dollars for a Killing'' and ''One Hundred Thousand Dollars Per Killing'') is a 1967 Italian Spaghetti Western film. It represents the directorial debut film of Giovanni Fago (here credited as Sidney Lean). On the set of this film Gianni Garko got to know Susanna Martinková, a Czechoslovak actress at her debut in an Italian production, who little later married the actor and had a daughter with him. Plot Bounty hunter John delivers four wanted criminals, all of them dead. When he checks out the new posters at the sheriff's office he recognises his half-brother Clint on one of them. John could never forget how Clint out of jealousy killed their mutual father and how he blamed the misdeed on John who instead of his brother spent 10 years in prison. Giovanni Fago (born 25 April 1933) is an Italian director and screenwriter. Born in Rome, Fago began his cinema career in 1959 as assistant director of, among others, Mario Monicelli, Camillo Mastrocinque, Vittorio De Sica, Renato Castellani, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Lucio Fulci. The spaghetti Western is a broad subgenre of Western films produced in Europe. It emerged in the mid-1960s in the wake of Sergio Leone's filmmaking style and international box-office success. The term was used by foreign critics because most of these Westerns were Cinema of Italy, produced and directed by Italians. The majority of the films in the spaghetti Western genre were international Co-production (media), co-productions by Italy and Spain, and sometimes France, West Germany, Britain, Portugal, Greece, Yugoslavia, and the United States. Over six hundred European Westerns were made between 1960 and 1978, including nearly five hundred in Italy, which dominated the market. Films, particularly those of the influential Dollars trilogy, spawned numerous films of the same ilk and often with similar titles, particularly from the mid to late 1960s and early 1970s. By the end of the 1970s, spaghetti Westerns had lost their following among mainstream cinema audiences and the production had ground to a virtual halt. Bruno Corazzari
Bruno Corazzari (30 December 1940 – 29 July 2021) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. Life and career Born in Castellarano, Reggio Emilia, Corazzari started his career in the second half of the sixties, playing minor roles in a number of Spaghetti Western films, usually being cast as a bad gunslinger and a member of the villain's band. In a few years he played roles of greater weight in other genres, namely giallo, poliziotteschi and adventure films. He was also active in art films, working with Marco Bellocchio, Franco Brocani and Maurizio Ponzi, among others. Since the late 1970s Corazzari focused his activities on television, appearing on numerous TV-movies and series, sometimes in main roles. Corazzari died in Nepi on 29 July 2021, at the age of 80.
