World Miss University
World Miss University is an international beauty contest held annually in Seoul, Korea since 1986, with an average of about 70 contestants every year. The event is to select World Miss University Peace Corp Representatives. This event was organized by the International Association of University Presidents. After the United Nations named 1986 the ''Year of Peace'', the organizing committee dispatched peace missions to regions in conflict like Kosovo and Rwanda. These days, the event is organized by the World Miss University Organizing Committee which has headquarter in Manhattan, New York, United States. Beauty Pageant
A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. ''Morgunblaðið'' (, ''The Morning Paper'') is an Icelandic newspaper. ''Morgunblaðið''s website, mbl.is, is the most popular website in Iceland.
