The Money Pit
''The Money Pit'' is a 1986 American comedy film directed by Richard Benjamin and starring Tom Hanks and Shelley Long as a couple who attempt to renovate a recently purchased house. Richard Samuel Benjamin (born May 22, 1938) is an American actor and film director. He has starred in a number of well-known film productions, including ''Goodbye, Columbus'' (1969), based on the novella by Philip Roth; ''Catch-22'' (1970), from the Joseph Heller best-seller; ''Westworld'' (1973), a science-fiction thriller by Michael Crichton; and ''The Sunshine Boys'' (1975), written by Neil Simon. Philip Bosco
Philip Michael Bosco (September 26, 1930 – December 3, 2018) was an American actor. He was known for his Tony Award-winning performance as Saunders in the 1989 Broadway production of ''Lend Me a Tenor'', and for his starring role in the 2007 film '' The Savages''. Dan Peter Dalle (born 5 December 1956) is a Swedish actor, comedian, writer and film director. Dalle grew up in Täby outside Stockholm. He is most famous for ''Lorry''. A remake is a film, television series, video game, song or similar form of entertainment that is based upon and retells the story of an earlier production in the same medium—e.g., a "new version of an existing film".
