Soren Monkongtong
Soren Monkongtong (born 31 May 1980) is an Australian middleweight kickboxer. In 2007 he took part of the reality based television series ''The Contender Asia''. Biography and career Soren Monkongtong started training in muay thai at the age of 13 and had his first fight at 15. He is now one of the most active professional Muay Thai fighters in the world. At the moment Soren is training at Eminent Air Gym in Bangkok. Some of the fighters he has fought are John Wayne Parr, Jomhod, Bruce Macfie, Naruepol Fairtex and Warren Elson. Soren has fought for the WMPF super-welterweight world title, however lost to the Thai fighter on the judges' scorecard. he is now retired and trains people at nuggets gym in Australia Brisbane. The series is a deviation from the original Contender series, which involved boxing. The winner received US$150,000 and bragging rights as "The Contender Champion". Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink manufactured by PepsiCo. Originally created and developed in 1893 by Caleb Bradham and introduced as Brad's Drink, it was renamed as Pepsi-Cola in 1898, and then shortened to Pepsi in 1961. Orono Por Muang Ubon ( th, โอโรโน่ พ.เมืองอุบล; born January 14, 1973, in Ubon Ratchathani) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Orono started Muay Thai at 10 in the Kiatkamchai camp. At 15 he joined the Por Muang Ubon gym in his native Ubon Ratchathani Province to start his Bangkok career, training alongside other notable fighters such as Nungubon Sitlerchai and Nuengtrakarn Por Muang Ubon. His ring name was given to him by a trainer who thought he had a similar face as the boxing champion Rafael Orono who came to compete for a world title in Thailand in 1983 and 1985. Orono rapidly made a name for himself in Bangkok, fighting for the Songchai promotion. He was recognized for his southpaw style and ability to endure punishment. Jomhod Kiatadisak
Jomhod "King of the Ring" Kiatadisak (born 5 July 1970) is a professional Muay Thai fighter from Phang Nga province in the South of Thailand. He started learning muay Thai at the age of 7 and won his first fight when he was 11 years old. In 1986, Jomhod won the Southern Thailand Championship in 59.6 kg weight category and the same year, at the age of 16, he moved to Bangkok and began his proper fighting career. Jomhod fought in Lumpinee stadium for the first time in 1989. At the age of 18 he won the Lumpinee Lightweight Title, he never lost the belt but vacated it to move up in weight. In 1994 he won the Rachadamernn Championship in the same weight class, followed by the super lightweight title the next year and at one stage simultaneously held titles in both Lumpinee Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium.
