Kaddi
Kaddi (کڈی) (also known as Kaday or کډے in Pashto) is a village in the Swabi District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The inhabitants belong to Aba Khel subtribe of Mandanr Yusafzai Pakhtuns who occupy Swabi and Mardan districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The major khel living in Kaddi include Balar Khel, Taju Khel, Zakarya Khel, Khan Khel and Panj Pao. History The name Kaddi appears to be derived from ''Kada'' which in Pashto refers to a place lower than normal in height. Historically Kaddi had a great natural lake with seasonal birds from Siberia flocking in winter. Majority of the lake was converted into residential area. The present population of Kaddi is likely to have settled here in late 17th century as a spill over from the nearby town Zaida with which they still maintain close economic links. Aba Khel (tribe)
Aba Khel is the subtribe of Mandanr Yusafzai Pashtun tribe in Swabi District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan. They are settled in villages Zaida, Kaddi, Hund, Shah Mansur, Khunda, Ambar, Panj Pir, Beka, Aryan, Lahor and Kheshgi (District Nowshera). History Yusafzai are named after Yusaf who was the son of Manday along with Umar. Umar died early and left behind his son Mandanr who married the daughter of his uncle Yusaf. The descendants of both Yusaf and Mandanr are together called Yusafzai. Mandanr, the son of Umar had four sons namely Munu, Razar, Hazar & Mahmood. Munu then had two sons namely Usman and Utman. The descendants of Sadu, son of Utman are called Sadu Zai who are divided into five families namely Aba Khel, Umar Khel, Khadu Khel, Mir Ahmed Khel and Behzad Khel. Badrai Sepun
Badrai is a Nullah which runs in Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It originates in the mountains of Buner district approximately a 34°25'54" N, 72°40'9" E near Makhranai village to the west of River Indus and runs towards the south to pass along Charorai Kalay. It runs further south in District Swabi crossing near villages Panjtar & Ghurghushto where it is joined by small tributaries. Further south it passes to the west of villages Tutalai, Salim Khan, Manerai, Swabi, Kala, Dara, Panj Pir and Kaddi. An irrigation canal has been siphoned underneath Badrai at village Kaddi in Swabi district which is a prominent feature of the village. Yousafzai
The Yusufzai or Yousafzai ( ps, یوسفزی, ), also referred to as the Esapzai (, ) are one of the largest tribes of ethnic Pashtuns.
