Long An Football Club ( vi, Câu lạc bộ Bóng đá Long An), simply known as Long An, is a professional football club, based in Long An, Vietnam, that competes in the V.League 2. The team is playing at Long An Stadium. New name CLB Long An was adopted on December 12, 2015 to replace CLB Đồng Tâm Long An. History Forerunner of the football club Đồng Tâm Long An is the merger of the two football teams: Team Long An and Đồng Tâm Tiles young team. From the mid-'90s, Đồng Tâm has focused on sports activities for staffs in the company, especially football. Since then young football team movement Gach Đồng Tâm was born in 1996 and developed in parallel with the general business activities of the Company. Long An Stadium, officially Sân vận động Long An, is a multi-purpose stadium in Tân An, Vietnam. The 2011 V-League was the 55th season of Vietnam's professional football league. Eximbank have taken over as official sponsor of the V-League. Teams Nam Định were relegated to the 2011 Vietnamese First Division after finishing the 2010 season in last place. They were replaced by Hà Nội ACB. 2010 V-League
The 2010 V-League season was the 54th season of Vietnam's professional football league. The league and cup winners would enter the 2011 AFC Cup. The bottom side at the end of the season get relegated. The side that finishes 2ND from bottom enters an end of season play-off match against the 2nd Division's 2nd placed side. Teams Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hóa were relegated to the 2010 Vietnam First Division after finishing the 2009 season in the bottom two places. The two relegated teams were replaced by 2009 Vietnam First Division champions XM The Vissai Ninh Bình and runners-up Hòa Phát Hà Nội. Nam Định defeated Thành phố Cần Thơ in the end of season promotion/relegation match to secure their place in the V. League. Thể Công and Quân Khu 4 were renamed to Viettel F.C. and Navibank Sài Gòn at the end of the 2009 campaign. Viettel then sold their V. League slot to Thanh Hóa, to allow them to stay in the V. V-League 2009 was the 53rd season of Vietnam's professional football league. The league was held from February 7, 2009 to August 23, 2009. The league winners qualify for the AFC Champions League qualifying round in 2010. The cup winners enter the AFC Cup. The bottom two sides at the end of the season get relegated. 2007 AFC Champions League
The 2007 AFC Champions League was the 26th edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament and the 5th edition under the current AFC Champions League title. Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds became champions for the first time, beating Sepahan of Iran and becoming the fourth Japanese club to win the Asian championship, and qualified for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup.
