Óscar Aguirregaray
Óscar Osvaldo Aguirregaray Acosta (born 25 October 1959) is a former Uruguayan footballer who played as a defender for Uruguay national team. At club level, he has played for Nacional, Defensor Sporting, Internacional de Porto Alegre, Palmeiras, Figueirense and Peñarol. Artigas, Uruguay
Artigas () is the capital of the Artigas Department of Uruguay. Its name comes from that of the national hero, José Gervasio Artigas, who fought for the emancipation of the River Plate, and sought to create a federative nation from these colonies. The 1980 Intercontinental Cup was an association football match played on 11 February 1981 between Nacional of Uruguay, winners of the 1980 Copa Libertadores, and Nottingham Forest of England, winners of the 1979–80 European Cup. The match was played for the first time at the neutral venue of the now demolished National Stadium in Tokyo in front of 62,000 fans. Waldemar Victorino was named as man of the match. The European/South American Cup, more commonly known as the Intercontinental Cup and from 1980 to 2004 as the Toyota European/South American Cup (abbreviated as Toyota Cup) for sponsorship reasons, was an international football competition endorsed by UEFA (Europe) and CONMEBOL (South America), contested between representative clubs from these confederations (representatives of most developed continents in the football world), usually the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the South American Copa Libertadores.
