Águilas CF
Águilas Club de Fútbol was a Spanish football team in Águilas, in the autonomous community of Murcia. Founded in 1925 and dissolved in 2010, it played its last season ( 2009–10) in Segunda División B – Group 2, holding home games at Estadio El Rubial with a 3,000 seat capacity. History Águilas FC was founded in 1925, and played most of its history in lower levels. In July 2010, after five consecutive seasons in the third division, the club disappeared due to heavy debts. Estadio El Rubial
El Rubial football stadium ( Spanish: Estadio El Rubial) is located in the municipality of Águilas in the Region of Murcia , Spain. El Rubial, which opened in 1913, is Spain's second-oldest football stadium, after Sporting Gijon's El Molinón. With a seating capacity of 4000, it is currently the home stadium of Aguilas FC. History On February 1, 1913, the magazine "Vida Aguilea" published number 5 with information signed by Pedro Fernández Luna, in which the following is cited: "On Sunday 19 (January 19, 1913) a football match was held between the first teams of the Sociedad Levantina and the Sporting Club, in the new field that the Club Deportivo Aguileño has behind the electricity factory." 2006 Segunda División B Play-offs
The 2006 Segunda División B play-offs (Playoffs de Ascenso or Promoción de Ascenso) were the final playoffs for promotion from 2005–06 Segunda División B to the 2006–07 Segunda División. The four first placed teams in each of the four Segunda División B groups played the ''Playoffs de Ascenso'' and the four last placed teams in Segunda División were relegated to Segunda División B. It also decided the one team which placed 16th to be relegated to the 2006–07 Tercera División. The top four placed teams from each group in the Segunda División B played in the ''Liguilla de Ascenso''. Each ''liguilla'' contained one team from each of the four regular season groups. Teams were then drawn to plan one another with the 1st placed team in each group playing the 4th placed team, and the 2nd placed playing 3rd. The Campeonato de España–Copa de Su Majestad el Rey, commonly known as Copa del Rey or simply La Copa and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–36) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–76), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. El Molinón
Estadio El Molinón (), officially Estadio Municipal El Molinón-Enrique Castro "Quini", is an association football stadium in Gijón, Asturias, Spain. The stadium is the home ground of Real Sporting de Gijón. With a capacity of 29,029 seats, El Molinón is the 20th largest stadium in Spain and the second largest in Asturias. History El Molinón is the oldest professional football field in Spain. It has been in use since at least 1908, and is located on the site of an old watermill, hence the stadium's name, the Spanish word for "big mill". Real Sporting started to use El Molinón as official ground in 1917.
