The International Engineering School
The International Engineering School is an undergraduate school within the Engineering faculty at Tel Aviv University (TAU). The TAU International Engineering School, or the International School of Engineering, currently offers a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, an 8-semester program delivered entirely in English. Faculty TAU's Faculty of Engineering was established six years ago by merging three research departments. Over 30 of the 52 Engineering Faculty members are fellows of international professional associations such as the IEEE. Moshe Kam, the current president of the IEEE, is an alumnus of the Engineering Faculty. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a 501(c)(3) professional association for electronic engineering and electrical engineering (and associated disciplines) with its corporate office in New York City and its operations center in Piscataway, New Jersey. Moshe Kam
Moshe Kam (born October 3, 1955) is an American engineering educator presently serving as the dean of the Newark College of Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Until August 2014 he served as the Robert G. Quinn Professor and department head of electrical and computer engineering at Drexel University. In 2011, he served concurrently as the 49th president and CEO of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE. Earlier he was Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE's vice president for educational activities (2005–2007) and IEEE's representative director to the accreditation body ABET. Kam is known for his studies of Data fusion, decision fusion and distributed detection, which focus on computationally feasible fusion rules for multi-sensor systems.
