Hariharan Anantha Subramani (born 3 April 1955) is an Indian people, Indian playback singer, playback, bhajan and ghazal singer who predominantly sings in Tamil language, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu language, Telugu languages. He has also sung over 15,000 notable songs in 10+ languages including Marathi language, Marathi, Sinhala language, Sinhala, Maithili language, Maithili, Bhojpuri language, Bhojpuri, Odia language, Odia, Bengali language, Bengali, Sanskrit, Gujarati language, Gujarati and English language, English. The National Film Awards are awards for artistic and technical merit given for "Excellence within the Cinema of India, Indian film industry". Maithili ( , ) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in parts of India and Nepal. It is native to the Mithila region, which encompasses parts of the eastern Indian states of Bihar and Jharkhand as well as Nepal's Koshi Province, Koshi and Madhesh Provinces.
